Beginner’s Sourdough Workshop

Join us for an exciting Sourdough Workshop, taught by Stephanie Gibson. Affectionately known as the ‘Dough Mama,’ Stephanie is a local baker and mom who has a passion for sourdough and hopes to inspire others to share her love for it!
In this hands on workshop, Stephanie will guide us through the process of starting a sourdough loaf, sharing helpful tips and information along the way. Together, we’ll prepare a loaf of bread for you to take home and bake later, and we’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy cookies and delicious bread with different flavorings. On top of that, everyone will receive a sourdough starter kit to take home!

- How to properly care for and maintain the new starter you receive.
- Begin your first loaf to take home and bake.

- Scoring and baking with or without a Dutch oven.
- Comprehensive handout for reference, basic sourdough loaf recipe, bread razor for scoring.
