Join us for an exciting Sourdough Workshop, taught by Stephanie Gibson. Affectionately known as the ‘Dough Mama,’ Stephanie is a local baker and mom who has a passion for sourdough and hopes to inspire others to share her love for it!

In this hands on workshop, Stephanie will guide us through the process of starting a sourdough loaf, sharing helpful tips and information along the way. Together, we’ll prepare a loaf of bread for you to take home and bake later, and we’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy cookies and delicious bread with different flavorings. On top of that, everyone will receive a sourdough starter kit to take home!

Spring Chicken Cooking Class

Join us for a Spring cooking demonstration with Chef Conner Adams featuring savory herb chicken and vegetables designed to celebrate the Spring season in all its freshness!

While Chef Conner teaches, you’ll learn how to make chicken thighs and drumsticks, seasoned with spring herbs, drizzled with blackberry honey sauce, and sprinkled with savory pistachio gremolata. On the side, he’ll serve molasses carrots and zesty sautéed spinach. And for starters, enjoy a unique twist on Bruschetta Crostini, featuring a refreshing lemon flavor instead of the traditional garlic seasoning.

Lifestyle Workshop: Hands On Gardening

In this class, you will learn the basics of starting garden vegetables and flowers. The workshop will be led by Stefanie Vanderslice, the owner of The Heirloom Acre farm in Beggs, Oklahoma.

In this class you’ll learn:

  • What equipment is needed to grow healthy seedlings indoors
  • Which varieties prefer an early start and which ones can be directly seeded into the garden
  • Ways to improve seed germination
  • How to successfully harden off and transplant

Additionally, each guest will receive their very own growing tray and start the seeds of their choice during this hands on class.

This will be Stefanie’s third workshop at The Studio at K|D! Brimming with homesteading experience, she excels in sharing tips and offering hands-on guidance. Her previous classes, on kombucha-making and fresh wreath-making, have been immensely popular. Join us for another enriching experience with Stefanie!

Our first “Soups of the Season” workshop was such a hit, we are excited to bring it back for Part 2 – “Soups & Sips!” Packed with even more soup-making tips, this workshop offers an immersive experience where you’ll learn to prepare three distinct recipes while enjoying a delightful flight of soups and wines.

We will have appetizers to enjoy during the cooking presentation. Specialty breads, wine and beer will be paired with each soup, and dessert to follow. The Workshop will be led once again by seasoned cook, Nancy Bruce, owner of Lambrusco’z Deli in Tulsa, OK.

Chop, chop! Sharpen your culinary expertise with this hands-on knife skills workshop at The Studio at K|D.

Have you ever wished you were a better cook especially when it comes to chopping, slicing, and dicing? Well if so, our Knife Skills Class on February 22nd is the perfect opportunity to increase your confidence in the kitchen and discover the joy of cooking! Gain hands-on experience as you learn over 10 different knife cuts while preparing your own salad. Learn the safest and most efficient techniques while cutting a variety of foods in an interactive and fun workshop environment.

Workshop will be led by private chef, Conner Adams.

  • Food, knives and cuttings boards will be provided, but feel free to bring your own knives if you prefer
  • Learn safe and efficient techniques while cutting a variety of foods
